Description
Beautiful and remarkably lifelike portraits done on silk in original period frames. Show what are likely siblings with bright Red hair and great expressions.
Remarkable condition given their age and history. Probably done in the post war late 1940’s or very very early 1950’s.
Approximately 14 5/8″ x 16 1/2″ framed.
They are done on some sort of light paper and backed with board and then wood plaque. The paper on the older child is not damaged but is raised in places and needs to be re-placed but we will leave that up to the new owner.
We are unsure of the paper but it is a nice quality light paper that may be silk paper.
