Description
1959. Simulated wood picture frame frames the famous chariot race scene. Picture shows Chariot rider being pursued in the arena by another chariot. 3-D effect created with raised layer on the chariot racer, horses and columns. Scene has been neatly and completely painted by the numbers and the same scene is repeated on the box lid. Includes original paint vials. Lid has a stress crack running vertically from top to bottom but not over sides. One of the short sides has a small piece missing. Box still displays well and is otherwise very good condition. Picture is better than excellent condition. Rare.
