Early 1970’s. Yet another of the classic coin tricks of the day. You show 3 coins, a Copper 20 Centavo Mexican coin, A Brass Chinese coin and a Half Dollar. You place the coins one at a time in your open palm. You close your hand and remove the Half Dollar and ask the spectator if they know which coins remain. Guessing right you replace the Half into the group.
You then similarly remove the Mexican and Chinese coins and ask what is left in your hand. They are wrong and the Mexican and Chinese coins are in your hand and you yet again bring the Half from your pocket and add it to the pile giving them one more chance. You pull out the half and this time place it in your other hand and ask which hand holds the Half. They will be yet again wrong and the trick continues along these lines and at the end the beauty is that all the coins are fully examinable. The Chinese and Mexican coins show normal aging spots.
