1975. 12″ Suzanne with huge Blond flowing hairdo. Wearing tight fitting, neck strapped Raspberry colored evening gown that bells out at the bottom. A somewhat common problem with these Mego 12″ dolls is that rubber joints have a tendency to “melt” or soften. Right shoulder joint has had this happen at the back but the arm moves freely and it’s almost unnoticeable save for the slightly wider seam lip. Leg/butt joints too have been affected somewhat though, again, legs move fine and lips are simply somewhat enlarged (only seen without clothing). Dress has a couple of marks where it once stuck to these “melts” and a small White mark at the bottom of the bell of the dress. Fortunately, this deterioration always seems to stop and doll does not deteriorate any further after all these years. Otherwise this doll appears to simply have been stored after purchase. Face is fantastic with real eyelashes and not a defect as is the hair. Exc.. Picture taken on doll stand (not included) and silver arms show at waist.
