Probably from the 1940’s and it’s really survived well. 9 1/4″ x 14″ solid wood with hinged front and leather lace tied side to adjust for material put into the scrap or photo book. One of the best hand painted scenes we’ve seen on one of these for a long time. Can’t quite figure out if it’s Japan (for the Geisha girl), Hawaii (for the Volcano and Palm tree) or What! Scalloped edges and heavy faux hinges on top. Back side is plain Black. Even even the leather lacing is solid and you could put this baby right back into use.
