Both groups 1966. Arguably some of the best trading card art ever done. We think that each card is suitable for framing. Simply glorious. Gently cared for by the original buyer and owner. Overall the sets are in very good++ condition, super.
First set is the story back cards which provide a synopsis of the scene shown are the front. This is the first released set. Set is missing #s 2, 5, 11, 27, 31, 36 and 43. Card #4 does have some punched in crimping at one corner which is an exception to the overall card condition.
Second is the puzzle back cards, often called “Series A” which was the 2nd set to be released. Set includes: Joker puzzle – #3 and #6, Catwoman puzzle – #3 and #5, Penguin puzzle – #1, 2, 4 and 6, Robin puzzle – #4, 5 and 6, Batman puzzle – #1, 2 and 7. #7 has similar indented crimping in one corner and is an exception to the overall condition., Riddler puzzle – #6.
Putting together a nice quality set like this today is super tough.
