1953/ Game boards are hot right now and the metal ones are right near the top of the list. This game gives you an instant collection of four nice boards! Set is 14 1/2″ square. Chinese checker board is the hinged lid that comes off completely from the board(s) below with raised edges to hold game pieces. Chinese checker board is brightly illustrated with Buddha figure, dragon, pagoda/temple and another Chinese god head. One reverse side of Chinese checkers board is a standard checker/chess board with Black and Red squares and tan edging. Best boards, however, are on the bottom section. One side has a racing car game called Auto Race and features illustrations of early racing cars, flags, etc.. Last, but certainly not least, is a fantastic Baseball game board with many illustrations of players, spectators, etc.. Game boards have been well taken care of an any real noticeable wear is mostly at sides and edges from handling. Chinese checker board does have some old tape remnants by illustration of pagoda/temple along with a couple of scratch marks from improper removal, tape should soak off with normal water. Overall all board surfaces are Excellent or better mostly for above mentioned edge wear and scattered surface scratches seen upon close inspection. Really fantastic condition even without the games intended use taken into consideration. Comes with playing pieces which include 4 color plastic racing cars, Marbles for “Ching-Ka-Check” Chinese checkers game in original box with instructions on outside, complete boxed checker pieces and magnetic end feathered dart for Baseball game. Only missing 9 Purple, 2 Gray, 2 Green and 1 Black marbles of 60 standard marbles. Unusually complete set with Exc++ contents. Comes in original cardboard box with pictures of games on the outside. Box is VG.
