Description
10 1/4″ x 14 1/2″ nice condition licensed frame tray puzzle with early Allen Du Mont Laboratories marking. Allen Du Mont. Du Mont is known not only for creating the first all electronic television receivers and for cathode ray tubes contained within but also for having the first listened television station which gives this puzzle general television memorabilia collectibility.
There is a small piece of edge litho paper missing on the right side but it is insignificant to the fantastic condition image. There are also some remnants of tape around the front and back of most sides but noticeable mostly during close inspection. Otherwise this rare piece is in much better than excellent condition with fantastic rich colors and great displayabilty with everything a Captain Video or Space / Science Fiction (Sci Fi) collector could want. Floating city, Rockets, planets and Captain Video at the controls with large viewing window to space. Very likely 1950, certainly early in the 1949-1955 run.
