1949 or early 50’s. 12″ X 16″ folded book, as sent. Heads up Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz collectors, here’s a rare gem for your collection. Book features three different films grouped together: The Fuller Brush Man with Red Skelton, The Fuller Brush Girl with Lucille Ball and Eddie Arnold (Green Acres) and Holiday in Havana with Desi at his Baba Lou best. Front of book has two color banners of the three movies with photos of the stars. Great picture of Ricky dressed to the Cuban hilt and playing his drum next to his adoring (and dancing!) co-star. Inside is jam packed with lots of photos, examples of tie-in promotions, pictures of stand-up figures of the stars (oh what wouldn’t you give?), synopsis of each movie along with list of stars, nice examples of posters and ad mats and a newspaper style publicity write-up with more nice pictures including a Black and White example of the Ricky on drum picture from the front cover. Hey!, don’t overlook Red Skelton here even though he is overshadowed. Front and back cover separated at center spine about 1″ at center from normal use.
