Description
The bulk of this collection is from the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden Smithsonian Institution Show of the same name which ran from April 20 to June 27, 1982. It includes the fold out large brochure, 2 glossy large tickets and a full set of 4 different color pins. The pins have the show information printed on the back edges including the dates of the show.
Also included is a 15 page booklet produced by the Museum of Modern Art in New York entitled “de stijl”. It was printed in Western Germany in 1961. It is in great condition with the original price tag bleeding through on the front cover.
The exhibition brochure and pins were produced in conjunction with the show and were otherwise not available to the public.
Artist include Piet Mondrian, Theo van Doesburg, Robert van’t Hoff, Jan Wils, J.J.P. Oud, Georges Vantongerloo, Vilmos Huszar, Hans Arp, Sophie Taeuber-Arp, Bart van der Leck, Cornelis van Eesteren and Gerrit Rietveld.
