Description
Early 1970’s. Complex telepathy trick with six scare chalkboard slate. Magician shows a telephone book, dictionary and deck of cards. Three spectators are asked to open the dictionary/telephone book and chose ANY line and word or number on that line. The magician does not go near either the books or the spectators during this procedure. Spectators are asked to think of their selections while magician takes a piece of chalk and puts his mental impression in one of the squares on the board and then covers it with a piece of colored cardboard. The spectator now tells his selection and this is written in the open square below the magicians covered square. This is similarly done with the other selections. When the squares are uncovered, they match the selections by the audience!
Comes with deck, slate with nice storage bag and piece of chalk, the dictionary and telephone books are borrowed.
Contents and instructions are in better than excellent condition. The deck is a Fox Lake deck that is original though differs somewhat from the description in the instructions. Your procedure would be slightly different then noted but the effect with the deck will be the same. This is how I got the deck from Al’s magic shop and performed the trick a number of times. I believe AL walked me through a slight variation in the routine. If your a stickler for details you could easily get another, normal, Fox lake deck and make it identical to as described or you can substitute another deck (this will be clear when you buy the trick).
Quality made and beats anything contemporary we’ve seen.
