Please note: These are not original woodblock prints, nor are they done with the woodblock method. These are reprints from the 1970’s and they were issued in Japan in sets of 4 in envelopes along with sheets detailing the locations in then modern Japan. They are approximately 14 4/8″ x 10 1/6″ each.
Includes 9 prints, 3 envelopes and 3 location sheets. It does not include all of the prints or envelopes that would have been involved.

Hiroshige was a Japanese ukiyo-e artist and considered the last great master of that tradition. The prints themselves have been carefully stored and for the most part are near mint or better. The only signs of age MAY be in the form of some slight edge wear from removing and replacing in the envelope but there is nothing of significance and these are ready to frame.
