1953. 9″ X 12″, opens to 24″. We don’t usually even use the term rare since it is, more often than not misused and when we do we have good reason. This book presents just such a reason and it’s a real Thurber gem. Bi-fold book with large, classic, Thurber illustration on the front as well as in the interior and back. Extensive write-up on the back side and interior includes examples of poster, advertising and tie-ins and more. Book has original three creases, one at top to open and one at either side about 1/4 in and both are as sent to theater. Very good condition. Thurber collectors beware!, you are not likely to see the likes of this again.
