Description
We believe this is the 1940 edition based on box design and other dating methods. Patent numbers end in 1936. However, usually it is the next edition that had the metal pieces replaced with the wooden colored tokens due to the war effort but this set has those. Regardless, those pieces are here and this estate game is as bought then. Instructions note metal pieces and this is normal as they were unchanged during the switch.
Missing 2 of the wooden houses. Remarkable overall condition especially the contents which include 2 instructions sheets, wooden houses and hotels, wooden tokens and money that fills it’s holder. Overall set is very good++. See pictures for noted marks and defects.
