17 1/4″ tall 1938 mail-away premium from Malt-O-Meal. These are very hard to come by in any condition let alone the excellent condition of this one. The Andy Gump matching premium just sold 8/06 for close to $400 and though it was still on it’s card we feel the Moon Mullins character, who gave his name to the Frank Willard Comic strip, is more desirable and so it’s a toss up between name and unpunched condition.
Very little wear even on original fold marks from manufacturer, of which there are many. Parts move fine though we didn’t spend any time trying to actually use him as a dummy! Teeth are in the mouth too but don’t show in the pictures of the various mouth/eye positions.
Back has routine for ventriloquist act.
