5/44 oversized (10 1/2″ x 13 1/2″) color cover / B&W interior mens magazine. Fantastic front cover of young woman dressed as a buccaneer. Features a number of pin-up pictorials and this one includes an early Gypsy Rose Lee pictorial entitled GRL buys a new spring hat (in some pictures its 80% of her outfit – Vah Vah Vah Voooommm). Great photo layout of a “Contortionist at home” doing various daily activities. Why is she always wearing bathing suits? – this ones is a riot! Great book and also features cartoons by cartoonists of the time, political humor (Hitler). Overall VG- showing much less than normal wear and a slight discoloration at the top of the cover.
