Description
These trash cans are extremely rare for obvious reasons. Not only are they made of cardboard which is subject to normal deterioration, they were trash cans and few people saved them. Probably Art Deco time period, late 20’s or early 30’s. 9 1/4″ tall.
Remarkable condition and can structure is firm and usable with tin bottom and metal side and lip supports like new. 3 punches to cardboard but little or no lose of lithography or cardboard. One push above moon and another below canoe to bottom. Last one is significantly smaller on the left rounded side/middle. Marked Cayo Mfg., Benton Harbor Michigan, No. 49. Overall condition is excellent.
