Description
1″ diameter enameled pin from 1914 and given to an apprentice at the Scott Foundry and inscribed as such. We’re not sure if this commemorates a specific event at the Foundry in Reading Pennsylvania but that is likely the case.
Front has the traditional Royal Arcanum logo with VMC which stands for Virtue, Mercy, Charity. There is some light wear at the top/right as shown.
The only marking we can see is WA on one link. This is certainly Gold filled but without markings please evaluate for yourself and this is being sold as non-precious.
This is from a small estate of a gentleman who appreciated the finer things in addition to being a Mason and Machinist both in the military as well as in private life.
