Made by arguably one of the best makers of blades and cutlery. This cutter is no longer available.
Hand hewn swiss stainless steel tempered blade, your unlikely to find a sharper cutter that will stay sharp forever. The spring and body are also hardened stainless steel with high polish grade (so you can remove our fingerprints!).
Cutter base is solid Mahogany and the handle is hand picked and formed Ox horn. The larger hole fits a 54 gauge easily (and about 1/2″+ in, not just the end of cap) so it will accommodate most of the largest gauges out there. The smaller hole has counter sunk opening for gentle cap cutting and the rest of the smaller gauges.
There is a small hole in the base that was for a small steel peg for locking the blade half way down for some reason, this is missing (owner doesn’t remember every getting it) but could easily be replaced if for some reason you found a need for it. There is a hole in the blade assembly to insert the peg.
One end has a few small chips but they are not very noticeable as it is solid wood (see super close up pictures for details). Base is felt covered.
This will be the only, and last, cutter you ever need.
