Description
Probably 40’s. 5 1/2″ tall x 5 1/4″ across. Large scouting Eagle symbol in the center with the “Be Prepared” motto on a banner across its bottom. Above the ribbed base is also written: “A Scout is Trustworthy”. Image and lettering is raised from the background. Each bookend has a metal shelf post base. One base has original felt, the other does not. Some less than normal edge wear, mostly on one bookend making the pair overall Exc. (best bookend is NM-).
