Description
Probably 40’s. Nicely done 5″ x 4″ curved glass front shadow pictures with shadows pained onto the glass. Each pictures features the identical pair of English children playing with toys or school related activities. Boy is dressed in typical Little Lord Fauntleroy gear and girl is similarly dressed for the period. 1st picture shows the boy playing with his large wooden soldier while the girl plays with her doll. Outside the “window” is a colored cardboard background that shows some period house peaks. 2nd picture has girl reading from a book while the boy studies a globe on a stand. “Window” has different views of trees and house peaks with large building/castle in the background. Outside edges of tin frames have Red and White striping. Pair is Exc+.
