1979. Very impressive 17″ tall women in Blue paisley dress with tan apron with Red & Black trim. Under skirt is approximately 8″ high and in diameter to hold a full size tea pot. This area has heavy quilted surrounding. Facial features are hand painted and she is pursing her lips ready to drink from the White plastic cup she holds in her right hand which she is supporting with her left. White hair pokes out from under her Red babushka that matches her Red plastic earrings. Original Russian paper label stapled to back side. A true folk art piece made with great care and an eye for detail. No discounts/sales on this item.
