Description
Designed by the then Industrial Design Department Chairman using photographs provided by both Charles Eames directly and the Herman Miller company and with the consulting and approval of Mr. Eames.
The Chairman himself was a well know Industrial Designer who worked with Herman Miller, Braun, Schick, Honda, Harman Kardon, Thonet, Royal Typewriter, etc. etc.. He also held numerous patents himself and via company contracts. You HAVE seen his work.
These were used as advertising for Eames talk at Pratt Institute on April 10, 1971 from 4-6 pm in the Main Building. They were never sold to the public and we believe never offered anywhere else ever until now.
It is 33″ x 23 5/8″.
There is almost no chance you will ever find this again and this comes directly from the estate of the Chairman himself (who was a well documented and patented designer himself).
The poster is rolled and has never been used or displayed. It shows some normal storage wear that may appear as very slight edge wear and light curve marks that shows at angles. These are from tube storage.
A couple of small light brown marks under the 4th row at the left. There is a small white dot the “S” but this is as the piece was printed and shows on all of them. Your poster may vary slightly from the one pictured but all are in similar nice condition.
