Original Citation 16 dealer brochure along with a H/K company photograph of the same. Additionally there is a preproduction photo taken during design development and the Preliminary Product Announcement flyer for dealers. All are in nice condition and were file copies.
These original never used brochures and actual design material lots are from the private collection of the Lead Industrial Designer, Yasuhiro “Jerry” Okuda, at the time at Harman / Kardon. His career was varied and he was involved with some of the biggest companies out there, see below for a short biography.
The photographs often included are directly from his work at Harman-Kardon and were never available to the public but were utilized for artist proofing, advertising, brochures and the like.

though a number of units produced had small plaques with his and other designers names on them.
Okuda was the industrial design lead for all of the Harman Kardon related materials we are currently selling and he has a very rich history in Industrial Design for many big companies. He was responsible for the unique clean look of the H/K line from the 60’s through into the 80’s.
